From the living room one goes out onto the balcony on the North side which is in deep shade and hidden from the street by the trembling leaves of birch-trees. There are four dark-brown rattan-imitation chairs resistant to all weather conditions and a small round coffee table – ideal space for afternoon coffee or tea, evening chats or a game of cards.
